J. Spencer Smyth, Esq.
Spencer grew up in Teton and Sugar City Idaho. He graduated from Idaho State University with undergraduate degrees in History and Political Science. Spencer then studied at the University of Idaho College of Law where he obtained a Juris Doctorate. While attending law school, he had the opportunity to work as an intern for Mosman Law Office in Moscow, Idaho and as an intern for Pendlebury Law in Idaho Falls. Following graduation, Spencer began working as an associate for Pendlebury Law where he focused on criminal law and family law.
In January of 2013, Spencer started Smyth Law, PLLC. As a solo practitioner, he practiced most general areas of law, including criminal law, family law, probate, real estate, business law and estate planning. In April of 2016, Spencer met Alan Harrison and they began discussing how they could approach the law to be more effective in helping clients find better long-term solutions to their problems. These discussions ultimately led to forming a partnership in July of 2016.
